Don’t want stretch marks?

Pregnant skin grows at a fast pace. To keep your skin in tip top condition (particularly if you are prone to stretch marks during and after pregnancy), Organic at Heart recommend the following skincare regime.

Once or twice a week, gently exfoliate skin areas prone to stretch marks. Try our exfoliator sponge. Fresh from the Mediterranean sea, dry brush your skin with this exfoliator sponge to remove excess dead skin cells (this way, what you apply to your new skin will have much more chance of working because it isn’t sitting on layers of old dead skin). Enjoy a warming bath or shower with Organic at Heart’s Citrus and ginger bath/shower gel). Use your sponge wet to polish your skin.

While your skin still feels warm, the pores will be open and any creams will be absorbed more quickly and effectively. Massage Organic at Heart’s Stretch mark cream into your new, conditioned skin. Spend extra time on your tummy as you baby will enjoy the massage too.

This routine will help give you skin the best chance of stretching without scarring. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin and sprinkle sunflower seeds on your cereals to help boost skin strength too.
